    Dover Motor Speedway to host summer NASCAR weekend in July 2025

    Dover Motor Speedway will once again host America’s best drivers, along with fun and excitement for the entire family, in 2025 when NASCAR returns to the Monster Mile – this time in the summer.

    Continuing a Delaware tradition that began in 1969, the NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, July 20 is the centerpiece of the weekend.

    The race will be the 107th NASCAR Cup Series event hosted at the Speedway and the first to take place in July since Richard Petty won Dover’s inaugural NASCAR Cup Series race by six laps on July 6, 1969.
